The Six Week Sugar Recovery Programme

Break the cycle. Regulate the nervous system. Build a recovery that actually holds.

You already know what you should do.

You have tried the diets, tracked the macros, white-knuckled through the cravings. You have read the books and understood the patterns. And you have come back to sugar again and again — not because you lack willpower, but because willpower was never the right tool for this job.

Sugar and processed food addiction is not a discipline problem. It is a nervous system problem. A body problem. A problem that began long before you were aware it was a problem — and one that requires something most programmes have never offered you.

A way in through the body, not around it.

What the Six Week Programme is

This is a structured, one-to-one six week recovery programme for women whose relationship with sugar and processed food has become compulsive, exhausting, and resistant to every conventional approach they have tried.

It is not a diet. It is not a meal plan in disguise. It is specialist addiction recovery work — combining world-leading sugar addiction methodology, nervous system regulation, and body-based daily practice — delivered with the depth and personalisation that only one-to-one work can provide.

Please note: the comprehensive diagnostic assessment is a separate and essential first step before beginning this programme. If you have not yet completed your assessment, you will find it in the shop. The six week programme begins once your assessment is complete.

What six weeks includes

Six weekly one-to-one sessions One hour per week over six weeks. Structured and progressive but paced to where you actually are — not a prescribed timeline that ignores what your nervous system needs.

A daily somatic practice This is the part most programmes leave out entirely. Between sessions you will build a short daily body-based practice — breath, grounding, regulation — that begins rewiring the neural pathways underneath the addiction. This is how lasting change actually happens. Not in the session. In the daily, consistent return to the practice.

WhatsApp support throughout Real support between sessions when you actually need it. You will not be navigating the hard moments alone. When the craving fires at 9pm on a Wednesday, I am there.

Personalised nutrition guidance Practical, ketogenic-informed food guidance tailored to your specific biochemistry and addiction stage. Not a generic meal plan — a living document we adapt as you progress.

Resources and tools Everything you need to navigate daily life — craving management strategies, regulation techniques, practical frameworks for the moments when the old pattern wants to take hold.

How the six weeks works

Phase One — Breaking the Cycle (Weeks 1–3)

This is where we interrupt the pattern at its root. We identify your specific addiction stage, stabilise your biochemistry, and begin addressing the proprioceptive and nervous system dysregulation that has been driving the reaching for food. We introduce your daily practice and begin building the alternative regulatory pathway your nervous system has been waiting for.

Phase Two — Staying Free (Weeks 4–6)

This is where we go deeper. We begin to understand the emotional and developmental drivers underneath the addiction — the stress triggers, the urge patterns, the moments when the nervous system defaults to its oldest and most familiar route. We build the practical and somatic tools that interrupt that route before it takes hold. Breathwork. Grounding. The capacity to sit with discomfort long enough for something different to become possible.

Six weeks builds the foundation. It does not finish the work — and we will talk honestly about what comes next before the programme ends.

What this programme is built on

This programme integrates three specialist methodologies with a body-first approach that goes beyond any single framework:

Bitten Jonsson’s holistic sugar addiction protocols — world-leading methodology for compulsive eating and sugar addiction recovery

Dr Georgia Ede’s ketogenic therapy for mental health — clinical nutritional approaches specifically designed for brain health and addiction recovery

CENAPS certified relapse prevention — gold standard addiction recovery strategies for long-term freedom

And at the heart of the daily practice: Soma breathwork — a rhythmic, body-based practice whose effects on the nervous system, dopamine regulation, and trauma resolution are now the subject of serious scientific research, including work at the University of Cambridge.

This is not coaching.

This is specialist addiction intervention — with the nervous system, and the body, finally at the centre of it.

This programme is for you if:

✓ You have tried every diet and every programme and keep returning to the same pattern

✓ You understand why you eat the way you eat and are still stuck

✓ Your cravings feel faster than your conscious thought — like the eating happens before you’ve decided anything

✓ Food is your primary way of managing stress, boredom, loneliness, or emotional overwhelm

✓ You are ready to invest in real, lasting change — not another short-term fix

✓ You want to understand what has actually been driving this, not just manage the surface of it

✓ You are ready to commit to a daily practice between sessions, because you understand that is where the real work happens

This programme is not right if:

✗ You are looking for a weight loss programme — weight loss may follow, but it is never the focus

✗ You want to learn to eat sugar in moderation — this programme is abstinence-based

✗ You are not yet ready to commit to the daily practice between sessions

✗ You are seeking treatment for a clinical eating disorder — please seek specialist support

✗ You have not yet completed the diagnostic assessment — that is the essential first step

Questions people ask

Do I need to complete the assessment first? Yes. The six week programme is built on the foundation of your individual assessment. Without it we are guessing. If you have not yet completed your assessment you will find it in the shop — it is a complete and standalone piece of work at £197.

What is the daily practice and how long does it take? A short body-based practice — grounding, breathwork, and nervous system regulation — that takes approximately ten minutes each day. It is introduced gently in the first session and built gradually over the programme. This is the part that makes the difference between recovery that holds and recovery that doesn’t.

Will I be free from sugar after six weeks? Sugar addiction is a chronic condition and six weeks will establish your recovery foundation — breaking the immediate cycle, stabilising cravings, building the nervous system regulation and daily practice that sustain freedom. What comes next we discuss honestly together before the programme ends.

Can I eat sugar in moderation after the programme? For true sugar addicts, moderation is not the destination. This programme is abstinence-based — because that is what the research and clinical experience shows actually works for this population.

Is WhatsApp support available between sessions? Yes. Support is client-initiated — you reach out when you need it. You will not be alone in the hard moments between sessions.

What if I miss a day of the daily practice? Missing days is normal and expected, especially at the beginning. We will talk about what resistance and avoidance mean as information rather than failure — and build a relationship with the practice that is sustainable rather than perfectionistic.

Can I do this alongside other therapy or support? Yes. This programme complements any professional support you are already receiving.

Is a payment plan available? Please get in touch to discuss options.
